The chinese painting and western painting

  The meeting of  Chang Dai-chien and picasso had a very important meaning,chang is a master in the chinese painting and he also know western painting very well,he combine the western skills with the chinese painting. Although he is a chinese painter,but it is very famous in the world . Picasso is very famous in the world then, chang spent several visits to him and finally he met picasso.The meeting is  not very official, but it make picasso know the chinese painting ,picasso like the chinese painting, especially the chi Baishi's work. i do not want to talk about the meeting, i just want to relation between the chinese painting and western painting.

  The attractive point of the chinese painting is the artistic conception. Chinese painting is very  clean, color is not very complex, it like external show of mind in the heart and every aspect of painting will be full of the meaning, giving people endless imagination. it likes a LED flashlgiht shine in the distance and you see follow the direction of the light, you just see the end of light,but it is not end of road, so it can give you a very good feeling. such as the waterfall in the gorge , painter always hide the end of waterfall, you will feel the end of the waterfall will have many different possiblity.It just like the chinese poetry and you should feel it from your heart.but the western painting is not like that.western painting is richer than chinese painting,it will perform the sense of three-dimensional and its type of literature is very different from the chinese painting, it involved in many fields, legend, religion,history,life,literature and so on.And the naked female is one of most important role in the painting and always been used to be main character by many painters. It is a important difference between the chinese painting and the western painting.of course, because they are from the different culture background.There is no doubt that the western painting is more visuality compared with the chinese painting.It stress the perspective and performance of light and shade.So western painting will be more real and it does not like the chinese painting, chinese painting is more romantic. chinese painter just use several simple lines to express deep meaning. it is the advantage of  chinese painting.but something is same between the chinese painting and the western painting ,such as the performance of the spirit,shape,they also want to use the brush to express things they want .They are also influenced by the national culture and they have related relation with the literature and many materials are from the literature, especially the famous novels.

  In a word, chinese painting and the western painting have some connection things,the difference is also very obvious. but there is a very important conception that it is possible to combine the eastern culture and wester culture. Many masters will be good examples, Chang Dai-chien,Ang Lee and so on. i think it is very usual, for example, the online shop or the b2c, B2c is from the western countries, but it is developed very well in china , the best one is taobao, found by the Ma Yun who is the president of the Alibaba. but i think it is necessary to combine the western culture and eastern culture.
